Raptors Volleyball Club Team Policy
1. Club Philosophy Raptors Volleyball Club is dedicated to fostering a positive and competitive environment for youth athletes. We emphasize skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth both on and off the court.
2. Player Expectations - Attend all practices, games, and team events unless prior notice is given. - Arrive on time and ready to participate. - Maintain a positive attitude and show respect to coaches, teammates, opponents, and officials. - Strive for continuous improvement and give maximum effort. - Communicate openly with coaches regarding any concerns or conflicts.
3. Parent Expectations - Support your child and the team in a positive manner. - Respect the decisions of coaches and officials. - Avoid coaching from the sidelines. - Communicate concerns through appropriate channels (e.g., scheduled meetings, emails). - Ensure your athlete attends practices and games consistently.
4. Coaches’ Commitment - Provide a safe and supportive environment. - Promote fair play and development for all players. - Maintain open communication with players and parents. - Set a positive example through professionalism and sportsmanship.
5. Attendance Policy - Attendance is critical to individual and team development. - Players must notify the coach as early as possible if they will miss a session. - Unexcused absences may affect playing time and participation.
6. Playing Time Policy - Playing time is earned through effort, attitude, attendance, and performance. - At younger age levels, equal playing time is emphasized. - At older and more competitive levels, playing time may vary based on team strategy and performance.
7. Uniform and Equipment Policy - Players are responsible for maintaining and wearing the proper uniform and equipment at all times. - Uniforms should be clean and presentable.
8. Code of Conduct All members of Raptors Volleyball Club must adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respect, integrity, and responsibility. Any violation may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or dismissal from the club.
9. Social Media Policy - Social media use should reflect the values and integrity of Raptors Volleyball Club. - Inappropriate content, bullying, or negative commentary about the club or its members is not tolerated.
10. Conflict Resolution - Conflicts should be addressed privately and respectfully. - Players and parents are encouraged to speak with the coach first. - If unresolved, the matter can be brought to the club director.
11. Safety and Health - Injuries or health concerns should be reported immediately. - Players are expected to follow medical guidance and prioritize their health. - The club will follow all applicable safety guidelines and protocols.
